Mpwapwa Copper Project

Igozomo Minerals Company Limited is developing Copper deposit at Mpwapwa, Dodoma region, Tanzania. The project involves mining the deposit based on both conventional open pit mining and underground method. Igozomo owns a copper Deposit at Mpwapwa with a size of 9.94 km2.

 

Igozomo owns Prospecting License PL/16131/2020 located at Mpwapwa, Dodoma, Tanzania. This area originally had a mining License permits before owned by Igozomo. It was approved by Mining Commission of Tanzania to constitute a mineral reserve deposit. Due to investment problems faced by the investor, the area was left vacancy for other applicants to apply. Igozomo had the priority to own this area thus following legal procedures of application and thus acquiring License number PL 16131/2020 .Igozomo is in final stages to acquire a mining License to start copper mining operations.

Igozomo has joint ventured with registered middle scale miners owning Primary Mining License in Tanzania so as to increase the mill feed ore in the Gulwe Smelter Plant owned by Igozomo.

Project Objective

Igozomo Minerals Company Limited is a Tanzanian registered company that was established on January 7, 2013 (Registration # 96291, TIN # 119-404-665). The Company was formed to engage in exploration, mining, processing and support activities which will enhance the Company’s ability to participate in the mineral extractive industry in Tanzania. During the first six

months of operations, Igozomo obtained various prospecting licenses and conducted a survey of the commercial mineral potential for certain areas in which the Company had obtained prospecting licenses. The survey included field studies and laboratory analysis on the samples obtained. The first round of surveys identified areas in which Igozomo will concentrate its mining and processing activities, while continuing to catalogue and identify additional commercially viable mineral deposits in Tanzania.
